The Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine has provided for 150 million UAH in the state budget-2017 for the construction of Novovolynskaya mine No. 10 (Volynugol).
20 million UAH were expected to be given for construction, but then the amount was increased by 130 million UAH. The money will be provided by decreasing support to state mines.
In November the Cabinet of ministers approved of the construction costs of the mine, increasing them 1.9 times, or by 2145.15 million UAH, to 4457.24 million UAH.
The coal reserves at the mine are estimated at 37 million tons. The mine could be working for 40 years. The construction started in 1989. (Ukrainian metal)
