For the last 6 years steel pipes consumption in Russia stabilized on the level of 10 million tons per year. Imports have decreased in the last 2 years, with 400 thousand tons imported in 2015-2016, as opposed to 1 million tons previously. At the same time Russian manufacturers increase exports.
In 2016 the volume of the Russian welded pipes market will amount to 9.5 million tons (10.8 million tons in 2015), due to the LDP demand. In 2017 the price will grow following the increase in raw materials cost. (Ukrainian metal)
