In 2016 Krasnoyarsk Krai companies are expected to increase gold output by 18% YoY.
According to the regional ministry of industry, energy and trade, in 2015 the Krai mined 49.3 tons of gold, thus this year the yield could total 58 tons.
Polyus and Sovrudnik, the regional major companies, are expected to mine around 50 tons of gold. In particular, Polyus has already extracted 45 tons (40 tons in 2015), while Sovrudnik produced 5 tons against 4 tons last year. (Ukrainian metal)
