In 2016 ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih intends to produce 7 million tons of steel.
“That’s up by 10% of the plan”, the company CEO Paramjit Kahlon said.
According to him, despite the high output capacities, the company experiences difficulties with raw material deliveries. In particular, AMKR has to import coal, coke and lime, as it can’t get enough of these raw materials on the local market. (Ukrainian metal)
