Muzhievo village near the Hungarian border has been mining gold since 1999 for 7 years. Now the mine will be repaired and some 500 people employed, thanks to Avellana Gold.
“The project will be successful. If some locals treat it neutrally, those who have previously worked there support it now. Such enterprises offer higher wages. This will increase the financial situation in the village and around it”, Karpatskaya Ore Company and Zapadnaya Geologorazvedochnaya Company director Nikolai Gozhik said.
Muzhievskoye deposits is the first and only gold deposits in Ukraine ready for operation. (Ukrainian metal)
