In January-October Donetsk region increased industrial output. In particular in metal and metal wares manufacture the increase reached 6.6% YoY, in mining – 7.1%, in coke and by-product coke manufacture – 18.7%.
In October coke production dropped by 5.9% YoY, mining – by 5.2%.
Metal and metal wares manufacture went up in October by 1.6% YoY.
In January-October coal mining increased by 9% YoY, to 11.8 million tons, coke output totaled 5.2 million tons, up by 18.2%.
Pig iron production increased by 9.7% YoY, to 8.1 million tons, that of steel – by 7.4%, to 7.4 million tons. Continuous-casting billets accounted for 91.9%, or 6.8 million tons, of all the steel produced.
Rolled metal output went up by 12.4% YoY, to 4 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
