Zaporizhstal has stopped its blast furnace No. 3 for a massive overhaul, which it plans to carry out in 150 days.
Investments in the project total 1.5 billion UAH.
For the past 5 years Zaporizhstal has invested some 5.6 billion UAH into environment modernization of its assets. In particular, the main projects are the new sintering machine No. 1, construction of gas-purifying equipment at sintering machines No. 2-6, modernization of the BF4, capital repairs of BF 2, etc. (Ukrainian metal)
