In January-September Donetsk region (without the Antiterrorist operation zone) increased industrial output by 5.9% YoY. In September output decreased by 6.2% MoM and by 1.4% YoY.

Metal wares production went up by 7.1%, coke – by 22.5% and mining – by 8.7%. In September coke output dropped by 1.7% MoM, metal wares – by 3.1%, mining – by 8.8%.

Coal mining decreased by 5.9% MoM in September, but increased by 10.2% YoY in January-September to 10.6 million tons.

Coke output reached 4.7 million tons in 9 months, up by 21.9% YoY.

Pig iron production dropped by 6.7% MoM, that of steel – by 3.5%, of rolled metal – by 3.8%. On the other hand, in January-September Donetsk region produced 7.4 million tons of pig iron, 6.6 million tons of steel and 3.6 million tons of rolled metal, all up by 11.6%, 8.4% and 11.4% YoY respectively.

91.9% (or 6.1 million tons) of all steel produced came from continuous casting machines. (Ukrainian metal)
