In January-August Mezhdurechensky Mining and Processing Works and Valki-Ilmenit, both a part of Group DF, produced 132.1 thousand tons of 42% ilmenite concentrate.
In particular, MGOK produced 99.4 thousand tons, while Valki-Ilmenit yielded 32.7 thousand tons.
“The output volumes of both companies correspond to our target figures. We intend to increase output in response to the demand increase. Our capacities permit. We’ll see the situation after the New Year”, Ivan Bondar, the companies’ director, said.
MGOK maximum capacity is 200 thousand of ilmenite concentrate per year, while Valki-Ilmenit can produce 65 thousand tons.
In H1 the two companies produced 94 thousand tons of ilmenite concentrate. In 2015 MGOK produced 158.9 thousand tons, up by 9.6% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
