After almost a 2-months break Ukraine resumed coal deliveries from the Antiterrorist operation zone via Nikitovka – Mayorsk route.
43 railroad cars brought coal for Ukraine’s thermal power plants.
The railroad movement there stopped on June 1. On June 5, the railroad was heavily damaged by shelling.
On July 27 railroaders from Ukraine and the temporarily occupied checked the repaired route. So far only one railway is operating there, working at 30% capacity. The second railroad can only use diesel locomotives because of the damages. (Ukrainian metal)
