In January-June Ukraine imported $24.91 million worth of copper and copper wares, up by 14.9% YoY.
According to the State Fiscal Service, copper exports dropped by 50.8% YoY, to $35.14 million. In June Ukraine imported $4.88 million worth of copper wares, while exports reached $5.8 million.
Nickel imports in H1 decreased by 12.9% YoY, to $45.66 million, with $9.97 million in June, aluminum imports fell by 2.8% YoY, to $121.22 million ($22.57 in June), while tin, lead and zinc imports increased by 24.1%, 72.1% and 20.6% YoY respectively to $1.47 million, $1.97 million and $19.24 million, with $158 thousand, $0.27 million and $3.63 million in June respectively.
In January-June aluminum exports decreased by 31.5% YoY, to $40.68 million with $8.6 million in June; that of nickel and wares went up by 86.4%, to $2.24 million ($0.27 million in June) and of lead – by 3.8% YoY, to $13.24 million ($2.68 million). Zinc exports in H1 reached $9 thousand, down from $82 thousand in January-June 2015. Tin exports doubled to $2 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
