ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has issued Sustainable Development Report 2015. The non-financial report demonstrates the results of the company activity in the sphere of 10 goals of sustainable development: health and safety, products and infrastructure, resources and wastes; air, land and water; energy; supply chains; talented scientists and engineers; development of local communities and the contribution of the company into development of the Kriviy Rih city as well as corporate management.
The report has been prepared in line with 10 principles of UN Global Agreement and GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) international reporting standard.
AMKR has set the annual cycle of non-financial reporting. The company started publishing non-financial reports in 2011. Corporate Responsibility Report in 2011 was recognized as the best non-financial report of Ukraine due to results of expert voting in Non-Financial Reports Contest-2012 (Readers’ Choice Award-2012). The reports of more than 30 largest companies of Ukraine participated in it. The next report spotlighting the activity of the company in the sphere of sustainable development in 2016 will be prepared in accordance with new international standard of reporting GRI 4 (Global Reporting Initiative) and published in 2017. (ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih/Ukrainian metal)
