Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works had to stop operation, because railroad workers initiated a strike and blocked railroad on the occupied territory.
Alchevsk citizens report that trains are put back in depots, until the strike ceases.
“The works could be stopped for indefinite time, if the strike goes on”, said a source among citizens.
Since late May railroad workers have been holding strikes in the separatists-controlled Yasinovataya, demanding their salaries to be paid. At the same time they demand this not from the separatists, who control the town, but from Ukrainian authorities. (Ukrainian metal)
