Head of the Verkhovnaya Rada Committee on industrial policy and entrepreneurship Victor Galasyuk has asked the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to sign the decree #3868.
The decree provides for the tri-fold increase of scrap exports duty to eliminate the critical shortage of this raw material.
“This decree will make Ukrainian metal companies constantly receive raw materials and will also bring at least 500 million UAH to the state budget annually”, he said.
“The Verkhovnaya Rada has made its choice. I’m sure the President will support it as well. Not only metal companies are interested in it, but average Ukrainians as well. If metal companies lose exports, a new inflation will follow”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
