Total closing of state mines is out of question, says the new minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalik.
“Our goal is to save as much of the coal industry as possible”, he said, adding that Novovolynskaya mine #10 would be constructed.
Another goal of the ministry is to start exporting energy resources, electric energy to Belarus and Moldova in particular. This will allow Ukraine to use local coal and increase budget revenues. (Ukrainian metal)
