The Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine has passed an act on the increase of the ferrous scrap export duty from 10 euro per ton to 30 euro for 3 years. 268 people’s deputies have supported the act.
It should be noted that Ukrainian metal companies insisted on the increase of the duty to 35 euro per ton.
And even with such duty, scrap companies can freely export their products. (Ukrainian metal)
