In January-February Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works produced 333 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 71.6% YoY.
Steel output increased by 50.5%, to 322 thousand tons, that of pig iron – by 68.9%, to 309 thousand tons.
In February the works produced 158 thousand tons of rolled metal, 158 thousand tons of steel and 150 thousand tons of pig iron.
In 2015 output at EMZ was as follows: rolled metal – 1.78 million tons, steel – 1.81 million tons, pig iron – 1.64 million tons, all down by 11.9%, 11.9% and 10.5% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian Metal)
