In January-February Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works produced 263 thousand tons of rolled metal, 299 thousand tons of steel and 296 thousand tons of pig iron, while in January-February 2015 it was idle.
In February the works produced 136 thousand tons of rolled metal, 161 thousand tons of steel and 159 thousand tons of pig iron.
The works was idle from late August 2014 till early June 2015.
In 2015 Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works produced 624 thousand tons of rolled metal, 680 thousand tons of steel, 691 thousand tons of pig iron and 1.12 million tons of sinter, all down by 72.6%, 72.8%, 70.5% and 64.3% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian Metal)
