In November Ukraine increased its steel output by 3.1% YoY, to 1.88 million tons. This allowed it to keep 10th position among 66 steel manufacturers, according to the World Steel Association.
In November most countries, except for Ukraine, decreased steel output. The TOP-10 steel producers in November are: China (63.32 million, down by 1.6% YoY), Japan (8.74 million, down by 4.7%), India (7.14 million, down by 0.2%), USA (6.08 million, down by 15.6%), South Korea (5.89 million, down by 0.5%), Russia (5.71 million, down by 3.1%), Germany (3.48 million, down by 3.1%), Turkey (2.59 million, down by 7.2%), Brazil (2.54 million, down by 4.4%) and Ukraine (1.88 million tons, up by 3.1% YoY).
In January-November Ukraine produced 21.033 million tons of steel, down by 16.8% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
