In January-September the United Mining and Chemical Company received 1.16 billion UAH of net income, with net profit totaling 238 million UAH.
In the given period UMCC sold around 280 thousand tons of products, including 113 thousand tons of ilmenite, almost 30 thousand tons of rutile and over 17 thousand tons of zircon.
“Even though the company was able to reach positive production and sales dynamics this year, we are still unsatisfied with the statistics, as they lag behind the potentially possible output and sales volumes”, said the company general manager first deputy Alexander Gladushko.
According to him the company still stocks some 310 million UAH worth of unsold products. Sales difficulties have been caused by the worsening of the crisis on the world titanium raw materials markets. (Ukrainian metal)
