In January-September DTEK coal exports reached 1 million tons, down by 71.4% YoY.

Such poor figures can be explained by the destroyed railroad infrastructure in the ATO zone, anthracite and thin coals supplies fall at DTEK Rovenkiantracit, DTEK Sverdlovantracit and DTEK Komsomolets Donbassa Mine, as well as the decrease of supplies to industrial consumers by 58%, or by 456 thousand tons. Most coals go to thermal power stations to ensure they have enough fuel for winter.

In January-September DTEK companies supplied 2.2 million tons of anthracite to thermal power stations. (Ukrainian metal)
