In December Ukrainian metal companies will produce 2.1 million tons of steel.
According to Metallurgprom statement, pig iron output in December will total 2 million tons, while that of rolled metal – 1.8 million tons.
In 2015, the company believes, Ukraine will produce 23 million tons of steel, 22 million tons of pig iron and 21 million tons of rolled metal, all down by 15%, 11% and 12% YoY respectively.
In January-October Metrallurgprom companies produced 19.11 million tons of steel, 18.06 million tons of pig iron and 16.74 million tons of rolled metal, all down by 18%, 16% and 18% YoY respectively.
In October average daily steel output in Ukraine decreased by 3%, that of pig iron – by 2% and rolled metal – by 3%, all MoM. Actual output was on the level of 2.05 million tones of steel, 2.06 million tons of pig iron and 1.76 million tons of rolled metal. (Ukrainian metal)
