Coalfields and central processing factories should be returned to the state ownership, said the head of the Donetsk regional military-civilian administration Pavel Zhebrivsky.
“The problem is many coal objects in Donbass are monopolized. Processing factories and coalfields have been given to private structures, while the state gets only losses. A lot of money gets stolen”, he stressed.
So the administration wants to return all these objects to the state ownership and make one company out of them.
“We still have to decide how to carry on. Each mine should delegate one representative. And together we would dwell one the decision. The single coal company should be able to sell its products itself”, added Zhebrivsky.
According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, Ukrainian coal companies are profitless, with state losing around 250 million UAH each month. (Ukrainian metal)
