In January-August Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works, a part of Metinvest, produced 1.16 million tons of rolled metal, down by 32.4% YoY.
Steel production fell by 32.7%, to 1.18 million tons, while that of pig iron – by 33.9%, to 1.03 million tons.
In August the company produced 201 thousand tons of rolled metal, 167 thousand tons of steel and 156 thousand tons of pig iron, with 218 thousand tons, 192 thousand tons and 172 thousand tons respectively produced in July. (Ukrainian metal)
