Azovstal Iron and Steel Works railroad fasteners have received approval of Skinest Baltija.
“Skinest Baltija analysis has confirmed that Azovstal 1KB50, 1KB65 and KD-65 plates as well as R65 rails joint bars fully correspond to GOST and UkrSEPRO standards”, said Metinvest, Azovstal’s owner, in its statement.
In January-June Metinvest supplied over 10 thousand tons of railroad rolled metal, including 1 thousand tons of fasteners. Products mostly went to the local market, CIS (Belarus and Turkmenistan) and Europe (Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary).
Metinvest companies produce over 15 types of rail fasteners. (Ukrainian metal)
