In May Ukraine produced 6703 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, down by 1.4%, or by 92 thousand tons, MoM.
In particular, iron ore output in May decreased by 9%, or by 98 thousand tons, to 991 thousand tons, while iron ore concentrate manufacture went up by 0.1%, or by 6 thousand tons, to 5712 thousand tons, all MoM.
Sinter output increased by 14.3%, or by 382 thousand tons, to 3057 thousand tons, while that of pellets – by 9.7%, or by 174 thousand tons, to 1966 thousand tons, MoM.
In January-May Ukraine produced 32768 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, down by 5.6%, or by 1939 thousand tons, YoY. (Ukrainian Metal)
