In 2014 Ukrainian companies consumed 4 million tons of steel, down by 43.7% YoY (7.1 million tons in 2013).
In particular, steel consumption in machine building decreased by 20.9%, in construction – by 18.6% YoY. Analysts say, in 2015 steel consumption in Ukraine might fall to 3.4 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
