In 2014 Ukraine decreased its carbon steel semi-finished products exports by 15.8%, to 9.16 million tons, YoY. At the same time they fell by 17.2%, to $4.34 billion.
The exports mostly went to Egypt (22.21%), Italy (18.64%) and Turkey (18.45%).
In 2014 Ukraine imported 53.04 thousand tons of steel semis, down by 10.2% YoY, as well as down by 27.7%, to $26.41 million. The main supplier of steel semis in 2014, despite its support of the terrorists in the East of Ukraine, was Russia (99.98%). (Ukrainian metal)
