Metallurgprom expects Ukrainian steel output in 2014 on the level of 29 million tons.
According to Alexander Zrazhevsky, Metallurgprom CEO, the company forecast was around 30 million tons of steel. But taking results of the first quarter into account, the company has a new figure – 28.6 million tons.
He said, Ukraine still remains the most export-dependant country among the world’s main metal manufacturers.
In the first quarter 84% of the metal products manufactured were exported. Zrazhevsky doesn’t expect the situation to change during the year. (Ukrainian metal)
