Ukrainian steelmaker Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, a subsidiary of the Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass, has announced that in October this year its plans to increase its production of rolled steel products by 13% MoM to the level of 310,000 tons and aims to increase its production of crude steel by around 11% compared to September to around 345,000 tons.
In the January to September period of the current year Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works shipped 2.5 million tons of steel products, down by 11% YoY. (SteelOrbis)
