It is reported that in 2010 Ukraine’s flat steel exports increased by 7.7% YoY to 6.513 million tons valued at about $3.81 billion.
In December 2010 Ukraine’s flat steel product exports increased by 0.5% MoM and by 10.5% YoY rising to 555,780 tons valued at about $341 million.
Specifically, in December 2010, Ukraine’s exports of hot-rolled steel went up by almost 4% MoM to 468,030 tons of which 58,480 tons were delivered to Turkey, with 47,600 tons going to Poland and 38,870 tons delivered to Russia.
Ukraine’s exports of cold-rolled steel in December 2010 increased by 1.2% MoM to 68,070 tons. Of this volume 8,540 tons were delivered to Russia, 8,000 tons to Syria and 6,190 tons to Bulgaria. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s December 2010 exports of other flat rolled products went down by 44.2% MoM to 19,680 tons with 15,870 tons delivered to Russia, 1,280 tons shipped to Belarus and 1,160 tons exported to Syria.
