In January-February Ukraine decreased its exports of stainless steel seamless pipes and rolled metal to Russia by 37.1%, to 2.08 thousand tons, YoY.
In particular, rolled steel exports went down by 46.2%, to 1.411 thousand tons, and that of seamless pipes – by 2.2%, to 671 tons.
Cost-wise Ukrainian exports to Russia decreased by 67%, to $2.54 million.
According to some experts, Russian stainless steel manufacturers can cover all the Ukrainian supplies, including round billets. (Ukrainian metal)
