It is reported that in November 2010 Ukraine’s flat steel product exports increased by 9.4% compared to October, but decreased by 6.5% YoY to 552,990 tons valued at about $348.88 million.
Specifically, in November 2010 Ukraine’s exports of hot-rolled steel went up by 10.8% MoM to 450,480 tons, of which 56,020 tons were delivered to Poland with 47,110 tons going to Turkey and 38,820 tons delivered to Russia.
The country exports of cold-rolled steel in November 2010 increased by about 10% compared to October to 67,250 tons. Of this volume 11,670 tons were delivered to Turkey, 10,250 tons to Syria and 5,420 tons to Russia. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s November exports of other flat rolled products went down by 6% MoM to 35,260 tons with 29,520 tons delivered to Russia, 2,720 tons shipped to Belarus and 930 tons exported to Azerbaijan.
In January to November 2010 Ukraine’s flat steel exports increased by 7.5% YoY to 5.957 million tons valued at about $3.47 billion. (SteelOrbis)
