It is reported that in January to October Ukrainian scrap procurement companies reduced scrap export by 24% YoY to 553,300 tons.
In October scrap export decreased by 15.4% to 24,700 tons as compared to September.
In 10 months of 2010 Ukraine decreased scrap import by 19.8% to 7,700 tons as compared with the same period of 2009. In October Ukraine imported 5,300 tons of scrap, whereas in September import volume amounted 1,500 tons. (Rusmet)
