According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, in January to October Ukraine increased its ferroalloys production by 47% YoY to 1.19 million tons.
During the first 10 months of this year, Ukraine’s silicomanganese output increased by 34% to 781,900 tons, its ferromanganese production went up 2.4 times to 236,600 tons, its ferrosilicon output increased by 35% to 159,700 tons, while its metallic manganese production remained unchanged from last year amounting to 12,400 tons.
In January to October the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant increased its ferroalloy output by 47.6% YoY to 768,700 tons, including 589,900 tons of silicomanganese and 178,800 tons of ferromanganese. The Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant increased its ferroalloy output by 41.3% YoY to 241,400 tons, including 123,100 tons of silicomanganese, 57,800 tons of ferromanganese, 48,000 tons of ferrosilicon and 12,400 tons of metallic manganese.
Another major Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant increased its January to October ferroalloy output by 51.5% YoY to 180,600 tons, including 111,700 tons of ferrosilicon and 68,900 tons of silicomanganese. (SteelOrbis)
