In August the Ukrainian pipe making industry demonstrated a 7.5% growth rate. The growth leader was HRTR, with a 70.6% MoM growth, yet still trailing last year’s January to August performance by 65.0%.
Interpipe’s NVTR production declined by 5.6%, while NITR output remained stable. The rest of the industry has shown a 1.3% MoM increase in their output.
Millennium Capital analyst said “The news is slightly positive for HRTR UK. The company has demonstrated a 70% hike in production for a second month in a row. However, HRTR still remains largely underutilized, with a 65% decrease in the eight-month output as compared to the 2009 results.” (Millennium Capital)
