It is reported that in January to July 2010 Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal finished steel product output increased by 0.6%YoY to 1.594 million tonnes while its crude steel production rose by 2.4% YoY to 1.94 million tonnes
As per report, the plant saw a 1.4%YoY growth in its pig iron output to 1.604 million tonnes and a 0.6%YoY increase in its sinter production to 2.838 million tonnes.
In July, Zaporizhstal produced 232,000 tonnes of finished steel products, 296,000 tonnes of crude steel, 229,000 tonnes of pig iron and 419,000 tonnes of sinter. (Steelorbis.com)
