In 2016 Bratsk Ferroalloys Works, a part of Mechel, produced 31 thousand tons of FS-75 ferrosilicon, up by 27% YoY.
The output growth has to do with the price and demand increase on world markets. Most of the products are exported to Japan, USA and Canada to be used in metal manufacture.
In 2016 BZF resumed ferrosilicon sales to USA after the antidumping investigation was closed. (Ukrainian metal)
