In January-June Russia exported 1.77 million tons of aluminum valued at $2.51 billion, down by 1.2% and by 30.4% YoY respectively.

According to the Federal Customs Service, exports to foreign countries dropped by 1.4%, to 1.74 million tons valued at $2.46 billion, down by 30.6%.

Copper exports totaled 244.6 thousand tons valued at $1.12 billion, down by 13.7% and 32.7% YoY respectively.

Nickel exports went up by 2.1%, to 96.2 thousand tons, valued at $817.1 million, down by 35.6%.

Most nickel and copper exports went to foreign countries. CIS received 4.7 thousand tons of copper, 0.2 thousand tons of nickel and 30.8 thousand tons of aluminum. (Ukrainian metal)
