In 2019, cargo transportation along railroad decreased by 2.9%, to 312.9 million tons. According to the State Statistics Service, transportation of iron and manganese ore grew by 2.7%, while of ferrous metals, coke and scrap decreased by 5%, 12.1% and 12.9% respectively.
