The renovation was the next stage in the implementation of Metinvest Group’s corporate program “Working Life”, aimed at systematically improving working and living conditions at the company’s enterprises. Zaporizhstal allocated almost 6 million hryvnias for the overhaul of the domestic facilities of the water supply shop and their equipment with all the necessary equipment and furniture.
Despite the difficult wartime conditions, Zaporizhstal continues to implement projects aimed at improving working conditions and daily comfort of its employees.
The total area of the renovated premises is almost 150 square meters. The sanitary and domestic facilities and showers, which are used by 92 employees of the water supply shop, were renovated.
During the renovation, the water supply, sewage, electricity, lighting and heating systems were completely replaced. A new ventilation system was also installed, modern decoration was performed and new plumbing equipment was installed.
They also took care of the comfort of employees in everyday life. The premises were equipped with wardrobes and benches with hangers, mobile racks for drying clothes, hair dryers and electric hand dryers. The total project budget amounted to almost 6 million hryvnias.
The convenience of the new household premises has already been appreciated by the employees of the shop.
“It is very beautiful here and at the same time everything is functional. There is everything you need: convenient washbasins, bathrooms, showers. I especially like the new lockers – they are spacious, comfortable, you can separately place clean and work clothes. It is very nice that even in such difficult times our daily needs were taken care of,” says Kateryna Los, a pump operator at the water supply shop of Zaporizhstal.
Metinvest Group’s corporate program “Working Life” has been operating at Zaporizhstal since 2012. It provides for major repairs and re-equipment of sanitary and household premises, changing rooms, showers, bathrooms and dining rooms directly in the production units of the enterprise.
During the program, 244 household premises were renovated at Zaporizhstal, and the total amount of investment in their modernization exceeded 266 million hryvnias. (Zaporizhstal)
