The Metinvest group estimates the need of its enterprises in scrap in 2022 on the level of 1.9 million tons.
Taking into account the current balance of customers and potential exports, which is expected to be around 150 thousand tons, the group sees the level of procurement at least not below the 2021 level.
The group notes the necessity to transform relations on the scrap procurement market and switch to long-term delivery contracts. (Ukrainian metal)
