According to the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of the National Economy, in January-October raw steel output totaled 3.758 million tons.
In October steel output grew by 2.8% YoY, to 0.389 million tons.
Rolled metal manufacture in 10 months increased by 2.8%, to 2.377 million tons, but dropped in October by 13.1%, to 0.172 million tons.
Kazakhstan produced 1.724 million tons of ferroalloys in January-October, up by 8%. In October the output went up by 21.7%, to 0.189 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
