The minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik has held a meeting with the employees of the Novovolynskaya mine No. 9 of the state enterprise Volynugol.
According to the Independent Miners’ Union chairman Mikhail Volynets, the miners have arrived at the capital for the meeting.
Last year the Novovolynskaya No. 9 miners several times went on a strike demanding their salary debts to be cleared.
This year the mine had to suspend operation because of the lack of equipment. (Ukrainian metal)
