In January-September, Uzmetkombinat JSC posted a net profit of 188.8 billion sums, down by 15.9% YoY.
However, in the third quarter, the company demonstrated a significant profit increase, reaching 167.7 billion sums compared to 21.1 billion sums in the first half of the year.
Administrative expenses fell by 27.3%, totaling 176.7 billion sums, while interest expenses rose from 226.6 billion to 309.5 billion sums. Losses from foreign exchange differences increased from 279.5 billion to 476.0 billion sums, whereas income from such differences grew from 173.6 billion to 389.5 billion sums.
The company’s long-term loans rose by 23.5% YoY, from 3.1 trillion to 3.9 trillion sums, while short-term loans and borrowings declined from 2.3 trillion to 2.2 trillion sums.
Uzmetkombinat’s total assets reached 13.2 trillion sums, up by 2.4%, and the company’s equity grew by 2.3%, to 6.0 trillion sums. Retained earnings amounted to 1.5 trillion sums, 24.7% higher than last year.
Net revenue in nine months totaled 4.7 trillion sums, down by 18.7%. (UzDaily)
