The ex-people’s deputy from the pro-Russian Party of Regions Vladislav Lukyanov has been detained while trying to leave Ukraine.

He was detained at a border-crossing point in Odesa region.

The 60-year old ex-“regional” wanted to leave Ukraine on the basis of reaching non-conscription age. But he was not allowed through, as, according to the Security Service of Ukraine, he was cooperating with Russia.

According to investigators, when Russia occupied a part of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Lukyanov reregistered his Internet provider according to Russian legislation and was paying taxes to the Russian budget. Moreover, he provided the FSB with access to equipment, which allowed controlling Internet activity of the local population.

At the same time, he himself remained on the Ukraine-controlled territory.

The Security Service also believes that Lukyanov has been personally “approving of the Russian aggression in Telegram channel chats”.

Lukyanov is the co-owner of Chasiv Yar Refractory Works. The town is currently under constant attacks by Russian invaders. (Ukrainian metal)
