In January-February, Ukraine procured 258.7 thousand tons of ferrous metals scrap, up by 70% YoY.
In February, procurement totaled 140.4 thousand tons, with 118.3 thousands tons collected in January.
Domestic consumption grew by 71.4%.
Metal plants received 206 thousand tons as opposed to 120.2 thousand tons last year.
As of March 1, scrap stocks were estimated at 20-30 thousand tons.
Exports increased by 63%, to 40.4 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
