One of the most prestigious international certification organizations, CARES from Great Britain, has completed a five-year evaluation cycle for MMZ Ltd.
According to the company, “the results of the audit particularly highlighted the high level and performance of the quality management system of MMZ, the high level of excellence in the technology of steel and rebar production, the staff professionalism, the organization and equipping departments with modern equipment of quality control of finished products”.
Company director-general Serghei Kornev emphasized the importance of independent control of the efficiency of the plant’s quality management system.
“The plant’s activity is based on three main components – personnel, equipment, quality. We are proud of the results of this audit, which confirm the correctness of our policy on quality management at the highest standards,” he said.
The audit carried out by the prestigious international organization, “confirms the highest standards of quality and production efficiency respected by MMZ, as well as its continuous commitment to improve and comply with norms and requirements global standards of quality”.
In April, MMZ successfully passed the re-certification in the ecological management according to the ISO 14001:2015 standard by SGS company (Switzerland).
In 2022 alone, various international certification organizations conducted 12 external audits at the plant to assess the conformity of the finished products with world standards, processes as a result of which 21 certificates of conformity had been issued. (Moldpres/Ukrainian metal)
