Ukrzaliznytsia must sell scrap metal via the Prozorro.Sales system, according to a corresponding decision taken by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
At the same time, the document provides for an exception for the company, saying that its management can decide on the use of its asset.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia asked the government to allow it selling ferrous metals scrap via direct contracts. (Ukrainian metal)
