In January-August, Ukraine procured 754.5 thousand tons of scrap, down by 3.5% YoY.
Domestic deliveries of scrap to metal plants decreased by 15.8%, to 601.1 thousand tons.
Imports fell by 62.5%, to 0.6 thousand tons.
At the same time, exports went up 3.9-fold, to 117.5 thousand tons.
As of September 1, scrap stocks at metal plants were estimated at 17-20 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
